Banksia Collage

These Banksia robur shots are different stages of the flower. The nectar is most available to birds when yellow, as in the top right image. There is a strong smell of honey when you walk past. This Banksia grows naturally in low-lying areas locally, but is very hardy and versatile in it's requirements. The leaves are long and large, and new growth is a felty pink.
