Saw the butterfly a couple of times in the last few days, and caterpillars munching freely on Flacourtia leaves. This plant originates from Cape York, Far North Qld, so it is unusual to see this butterfly so far south. Just goes to show that these creatures follow the food.
Nice one! We saw some lovely butterflies on our walk in the West Mcdonalds yesterday. A meadow Argus, Some tiny blues, a yellow one and others that flitted away, as they do. We didn't have the butterfly book, so not sure.
