Was looking out the kitchen window the other day, and was surprised to see a flurry of white and grey feathers plummet out of the sky into the garden bed. Thought that it was one of those "footy-jumper" (Wonga) pidgeons, but no. When the flurry died down, saw that it was a beautiful white Goshawk. I guess it was after one of those little water-dragons that sun themselves on the sleeper retaining wall of the garden bed. It spied me looking at it through the window and took off, no doubt as surprised as me. Love these little garden incidents.
